Previously known as the Ann Arbor Mini Maker Faire, the Ann Arbor Creativity & Making Expo (AACME) is a continuation of this same great event filled with hands-on activities and demos for all ages. Apply to be a part of this awesomeness, now in its 11th year!
2019 Exhibitor Applications deadline has been extended to Friday, March 15.
We will also be accepting applications for the 2019 Speaker Series, which will include demonstrations, live performances and talks about all types of technology and creative endeavors.
Speaker Series deadline is April 19.
Each year the organizing committee seeks exhibitors from a range of fields and from individuals, nonprofits, businesses, and students. Areas of interest include:
Robotics, CNC, computing
FIRST/FTC Robotics Teams
Green Tech (energy production/monitoring, electric vehicles, etc)
Performative Technologies and Arts including music and visual arts
Participatory activities (e.g., participatory activities such as silk screening or learn to solder, “Make and Takes”, hand tools, skill sharing)
Student projects (K-7th and 8th-12th grades)
Old and historic technology
STEM & STEAM projects
Unusual tools, machines, techniques
Whimsical technical creations
Demos in woodworking, printmaking or letterpress, weaving, spinning, knitting...
Fixing and/or taking things apart
