Who's Coming to ArbCamp? Kevin Dangoor - Python tamer and Web Tools Developer
Who are you and what do you do?
I'm Kevin Dangoor. I'm a "software product guy" having had a variety of roles in software development and product/project/people management. Right now, I'm the manager of Mozilla's Developer Tools group, working on making life better for people developing applications for the open web.
Why are you attending ArbCamp?
The Ann Arbor area is full of amazing people doing awesome things, and I want to learn more.
If you were to lead a session, what would it be about?
HTML5 or Mozilla Skywriter (formerly Bespin). As hyped as HTML5 and CSS3 are becoming, I don't think people fully realize just how big a deal it is... and next year it's likely that 60% or more of the browsing people will have HTML5 capable browsers.
Tell us one random fact about yourself.
I'm planning to teach some computer topics to kids at the Little Lake Learning Community democratic free school this year.

Who's Coming to ArbCamp? Adam Goodman - Coder, Pun-crafter, Taco-Eater

Who are you and what do you do?
Adam Goodman - coder by day, pun-crafter by night (although recently I've been trying to limit the extent of my pun-ishing, lest someone pursue me for pun-itive damages). When I'm not making friends groan with dismay at my contortions of the English language (and sometimes when I am), I'm one of the guys working on Scio Security (http://sciosecurity.com
), a new-ish startup in town working to make the world safe from the perils of online fraud.
Why are you attending ArbCamp?
I've attended a few other BarCamp-style unconferences (including the previous ArbCamp), and arrived - I think, inexorably - at the conclusion that they're awesome! Also, I firmly believe that building a sense of community among the "geeks" in Ann Arbor (indeed, in Michigan at large) will be a critical component to any future successes of the region/state.
If you were to lead a session, what would it be about?
I'm not really sure. Perhaps something deep in the minutiae of software development - probably involving python and/or network communication - or perhaps something more high-minded about the issues we face at the crossroads of technology and public policy.
Or, maybe, "why you shouldn't hate puns" (alternately known as "please don't hit me").
Tell us one random fact about yourself.
I have eaten tacos every Tuesday since the end of March (and you, having not done so, have been missing out!) So if you like tacos - especially on Tuesdays - then you should talk to me...
